Molly Myers is 1998-1999 SWE St. Louis President

Molly Myers, Mallinckrodt Inc., is the 1998-1999 president of the St. Louis Section of the Society of Women Engineers. Locally, St. Louis SWE has over 60 members, meets monthly, and plans a variety of professional development and career guidance events each year.

An active member of SWE, Myers served as president of the Washington University Student Section. She made a major contribution to the St. Louis Section when she headed the Higher Education Outreach Program. That four-year program introduced minority girls to science and engineering careers. Most recently, she has been vice president from 1996-1998.

Myers, a chemical engineer, graduated from Washington University in 1989. She began her career in process engineering at Monsanto Company, with assignments in corporate engineering and the Queeny manufacturing plant. In 1994, she joined Mallinckrodt as a senior project engineer for imaging products.

Myers has been a Chesterfield resident for eight years. She earned a MS in Engineering Management, also from Washington University, in 1994.
